💚 Collect those Caps!!  💚
PBJHS is participating in Pepsi Mid-America's Collect the Caps, Collect the Cash competition, and we need your help. Save the specially marked lime green bottle caps from participating products and bring them to PBJHS--you can drop them in the big box in the lobby by the front offices or bring them to the library! If we're one of the winning schools, every dollar we receive will go directly toward our library and the reading incentive programs that benefit our students. Start saving those green caps—every cap counts!
STUCO Announcement:
  • Student Body: If you applied for STUCO you will be getting an acceptance email sometime this week. Mrs. Magill and I are checking grades and behavior from last year to determine who will be accepted. If you are accepted, you will need to pay a $20 membership fee by Friday, September 25th. Failure to pay your membership fee will result in automatic withdrawal from the club. We will also be checking grades, behavior, and attendance quarterly. Thank you so much for applying; we had an incredible number of applications turned in this year.

  • STUCO: 8th graders who are already in STUCO need to pay a $10 fee for this year. This will cover your shirt. I need your $10 asap. If you are attending districts this year I will need you to pay the $25 district fee which covers lunch and shirts. You will need to come by my classroom and pick up a permission slip. Permission slips and money are due by Friday September 25th.

Fields of Faith
Fields of Faith is coming up on Sunday, September 27th at the high school football field. Any student who is interested in purchasing a shirt, can bring their cash or check (made to SEMO FCA) to Mrs. Bell by Thursday, September 10th. All money and orders are due before school on Friday. If the shirts are ready before FOF, they will be delivered to the school. If not, Mrs. Bell will pass them out at FOF. For any questions, you can email Mrs. Bell at allisonbell@pb.k12.mo.us

Our huddle will not formally meet that night. Most of our FCA members attend FOF with their youth groups, but I will make sure I am there to pass out shirts.

  • See You at the Pole - will be held Wednesday, September 23rd at 7 a.m. More information will come closer to the date and watch for flyers around school.
